Mechanics of Newton

Top of scientific creativity of I. Newton is hiss immortal work “ The Mathematical beginnings of natural philosophy ”, for the first time published in 1687. In it he has generalized the results received by its predecessors and own researches and has created for the first time uniform harmonous system of terrestrial and heavenly mechanics which has laid down in a basis of all classical physics. Here Newton has given definition of initial concepts - the quantity of a matter equivalent to weight, density; quantities of the movement equivalent to an impulse, and various kinds of force. Formulating concept of quantity of a matter, it started with representation that atoms consist of a certain uniform primary matter; density understood as a degree of filling of unit of volume of a body a primary matter. In this work the doctrine of Newton about universal gravitation on the basis of which it has developed the theory of movement of planets, satellites and the comets forming solar system is stated. Leaning on this law, it has explained the phenomenon of inflow and compression of the Floodlight.

The concept of Newton was a basis for many technical achievements for a long time. On its base many methods of scientific researches in various areas of natural sciences were generated.
